Agüero's job being settled in the wake of meeting with FA president

Previous Argentina striker has resigned on account of heart condition.

Sergio Agüero has said he will be essential for Argentina's private alcove staff at the World Cup in Qatar this year after a gathering with the leader of his country's football affiliation (AFA), Claudio Tapia.

Agüero, 33, declared his retirement in December as a result of a heart condition, following a 18-year profession during which he scored in excess of 400 objectives.

The previous Argentina striker said last subtleties of his plan with the AFA would be chosen before very long, and that he was expecting to go to the World Cup draw, booked for 1 April.

"We actually need to sort out the job yet I'll accompany the group at the World Cup," Aguero told TyC Sports. "It was a great talk with Chiqui [Tapia]. I need to invest energy with the players. I'll be there with the group, I get along very well with them. I need to be near them and attempt to have some good times. I need to observe a way I can help the public group."

Agüero scored 41 objectives in 101 games for Argentina, addressing them at three World Cups and assisting them with winning the 2021 Copa América - their first significant title in quite a while. Argentina have qualified unbeaten for Qatar, and are second in the South American qualifying bunch, four focuses behind Brazil.
