Cricket Australia has announced an 18-part test team on the much-anticipated 24-year-long trip to Pakistan on Tuesday, starting on March 4 in Rawalpindi.

The tour, which will be Australia's first in a long time, will start and end in Rawalpindi, with the first Test to be played from March 4-8 and four white football matches to be played from March 29-April 5..

Mitch Marsh, Josh Inglis, and Mitchell Swepson are key players in the 18-member squad, adding that Ashton Agar's name as a thrower is a big choice in the Ashes series' win against England.

The Australian Test team included: Pat Cummins (c), Ashton Agar, Scott Boland, Alex Carey, Cameron Green, Marcus Harris, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne, Nathan Lyon, Mitchell Marsh, Michael Neser, Steve Smith (vc), Mitchell Starc, Mitchell Swepson, and David Warner.

According to the affidavit, no players from the Australian side have cast their ballots to leave Pakistan and the oversized team will be announced in due course

Once again, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) can no longer report to the Test team for the upcoming home series against Australia.

Australia will visit Pakistan for example for 24 years

PCB had previously announced Australia’s first Australian visit to Pakistan since November, 1998. The visit will take place in March and April 2022 and will include three tests, three one-day international, and one Twenty20 worldwide.

Karachi (3-7 March), Rawalpindi (12-16 March), and Lahore (21-25 March) will have tests, while Lahore will have four white football matches from 29 March to 5 April.

Tests will be crucial for the ICC World Test Championship, and ODIs will be required for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League, a 13-team tournament in which seven major teams and India will qualify for the 2023 event.
